NSW:I'm not retiring: NSW MP Frank Terenzini

SYDNEY, Dec 14 AAP - NSW Housing Minister Frank Terenzini has dismissed reports he'll
retire at the March state election, saying he will recontest his Hunter Valley seat "with
great enthusiasm and energy".

News Ltd on Tuesday reported the Maitland MP was going to stand down at the 2011 poll,
making him the 21st MP to announce they were retiring.

But Mr Terenzini, who also holds the Small Business portfolio, said he had no intention to quit.

"Let me be very clear - I will be contesting the seat of Maitland in March and I will
be doing so with great enthusiasm and energy," he said in a statement on Tuesday.

"I am thoroughly enjoying the responsibilities of the front bench and I can think of
no better role in life right now than representing the good people of Maitland in the
Lower House."
