Fed: Opposition says govt in harm minimisation on jobs

Federal Opposition leader MALCOLM TURNBULL says the government seems more concerned
about dealing with the consequences of unemployment than in actually saving jobs.

He says some of the measures in the government's new jobs and training package to address
rising unemployment could be useful.

But he's told ABC radio the real focus should be on supporting small business .. the
engine of job creation .. by relieving the cost of employment .. providing tax relief
.. and removing red tape.
