NSW:Cars hit by rocks from Sydney overpass
SYDNEY, July 31 AAP - Sydney police are searching for four children after two motorists
had rocks thrown on their cars from a highway overpass.
A woman's windscreen was smashed by a rock as she drove north on the Hume Highway,
near the Badgally Road overpass in Sydney's southwest, about 3.45pm (AEST) on Sunday,
police said.
A short time later, a man's car travelling north on the highway, under the same overpass,
was also hit by a rock.
Both drivers escaped injury.
Police called to the overpass were told a number of children had been seen in the area
but a search failed to find the suspects.
The children have been described as being aged 12 to 13 years and wearing dark clothing.
Anyone who witnessed the incidents or have any information should call Crime Stoppers
on 1800 333 000.
