WA: Police Commissioner to return to Victoria

PERTH, Jan 15 AAP - Western Australia's Police Commissioner Bob Falconer today said he
would quit in June and return to Victoria, ending a rocky five-year relationship with the
state's police union.

In recent years Mr Falconer faced two no-confidence motions and industrial action over his
standing down of eight officers under investigation by the state's anti-corruption watchdog.

The union complained that because of the Anti-Corruption Commission's secrecy provisions
